Valentines Day

We had the wonderful opportunity last Sunday to have photos taken of us and the boys in the NICU. A former NICU mom is a photographer so we got free Valentines portraits!!

Both bottled!!

Both boys have now taken full bottles and are now getting a bottle every other feeding-sometimes more. Will also had a full nursing for 40 minutes. This is bringing them closer to coming home...now we need to just get them to stop having apnea episodes...
The nurses made new signs for their cribs...

Tuckered out Theo

Theo screams and cries for his feedings and then is tuckered out for his bottles. He takes them but it takes him much longer and many more burp sessions

Will has been a lot more awake and alert before , during, and after his feedings so he has been able to take bottle feeds more-and he guzzles them down...

Bottles up baby boys!!

We got to give the boys bottles this evening. Though it was not their first experience, it was our first time giving them bottles - Grampy & Nancy too!!

After the nurse took the bottle away Will was still "rooting" and sucking so we gave him a "soothie". Guess he was trying to tell us something...

Tonight daddy got to give Theo his first bath. He had been fussing because he was hungry but Ryan was able to calm him down by bathing - who would've thought?!?
