Tubby Time!!

I got to give Will a bath for the first time today!! I totally expected him to freak out and then not eat much but he did great!! NO fussing at all!! (Theo's is tomorrow!!)

Wonderful Week - One month!!

The week started out rough w/ us having an attempt by someone trying to break into our apt... followed by us finding out that our renters insurance was canceled!! This was due to our outside agent not forwarding our address info. Thank God whoever tried to break in bent the door so bad that they could not get in!!

Because of this I did not get much sleep for two nights-and also got sick. This was all made better by the accomplishments of the boys this week!!


They have become more alert before their feedings so we sometimes have to give them their "soothies".

The alertness of the boys before feedings has enabled them to nurse better and to have a bottle for the first time! They did not eat much-but they got the hang of it.

Patriots Pride - Take Two

For those of you who looked at the block last week...

Theo was fussing until we moved him off his back to his side so he could face Will. He looked right at him and reached out to touch his face!

I thought this was so cute-look how chubby Will's fingers are getting!!

Next steps...

This week the boys took the next step towards going home...They were moved into a crib together. They were also moved down the hall to a new room that was away from the "critical care" area - which is also much quieter. They received a new team of doctors & nurses that the whole focus of their care is "preparing to go home", but we still have our nurses Brenda, Dannette, & Sue though!! The boys had their eye exams and all looked well! The boys have also had their first baths - wait until you see what they bathe in...Lastly, they got to nurse for the first time!! I was nervous ahead of time, but was relieved when both boys did great!!

We sent pictures of the boys into FOX 25 because they are so cute!! Apparently they do not agree as they have not posted them-at least not yet! You decide...

Will and Theo are still in isolettes but they we were allowed to bring in new clothes for them to wear. We had to buy some - we did not have anything small enough...
